Taylormade is a musical combination of an eclectic group of guys from the Brisbane and Gold Coast music community.
They formed in early 2019 just for a social thing , but quickly became a formidable and serious combo.
The members are
Lee Taylor. Guitar and Vocals.
Lee Taylor brings to the band his own style of Blues orientated style . His distinctive and individual vocal style along with his own guitar sound is easily recognizable. His background is many and varied inclusive of his recent work with Free Soul Collective , The Blue Lanes and Dillion James, is six years with the late great Wiley Reed. Lee did over 300 gigs with Wiley Reed until his last in 2012. RIP Wiley.
Luke Weston Keys and Saxophone
Having a musician of the calibre of Luke Weston in TaylorMade has truly added a load of dimension and musical color . His versatility and his voicings make for a valued contribution to the band .Luke has worked and travelled far and wide with a catalogue of artists globally .
Martijn Warren Drums
Martijn brings a wealth of experience from his days playing in Europe. His expertise , and professional approach to this combo is a plus. The blend of his style works well with the style of Taylormade. We are very happy to engage with his nature and drumming stlye.
Zyra Guthrie Bass
Zyra's addition to the band has elevated the engine room to new heights, bringing her smooth and accurate feels to every song. She is the consummate musician and teacher. With live experience in working with pro's such as Wiley Reed .
